THE PROJECT OF THE SCUOLA ARTIGIANA MUSICALE TRAINING ARTISAN
About a decade ago the idea was born to create a training school for the construction and restoration of wind instruments, this is based on the need to ensure continuity in a trade that is likely to disappear by providing employment opportunities to the younger generation.
Our Non-profit association is responsible for this project, while the ancient and famous Lombard firm wind instruments that supports us (but which we can not name for commercial reasons) provides its workers for training students. The school is open to students not only Italian, aimed at aspiring artisans and students of conservatories, music bands and musicians around the world.
The students will learn: processing of materials (wood-metal), construction-assembly of components using the tools and techniques using specific tools, notions of physics and acoustics, music history and knowledge of the instrument.A hand to the economy, according to the culture.
